Mental health is our chapter's permanent project, meaning that we do a service project related to mental health each semester.
A tradition that began in 2017, we hold a 5K run each spring called Outrace the Stigma. All proceeds from this event go to the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Our most recent run which took place on April 13th, 2019 resulted in a donation of over $2,000 to NAMI.
In addition to Outrace the Stigma, we participate in Mental Health Awareness Week and work towards promoting mental health awareness on campus.
